Thank you for being a valued client, and for your continued patronage. As always, at Made From Scratch, we are committed to the health and wellness of our clients and their guests as well as our team members and their families. With a growing concern about the Coronavirus (COVID-19) around the world and in our community, we wanted to share what we are doing at Made From Scratch to ensure quality, safety and to help prevent the spread of the virus.

OUR EVENTS

Our culinary and service team members are trained in sanitation and proper food management practices.

Our event captains are equipped with sanitizer solution spray bottles and are instructed to sanitize work surfaces at events more often than usual.

Our team members will not be allowed to work if they exhibit flu-like or cold-like symptoms.

Our team members are to always wear food service gloves when touching food and during the set up and clean up at events.

Our team members are expected to wash their hands when arriving at our facility, at the event site, after using the bathroom and after nose blowing, coughing or sneezing.

Our team members are asked to avoid touching their eyes, mouth or nose with unwashed hands.

OUR FACILITIES

We are following all recommended preventative controls and will continue to monitor all of our facilities.

We provide signage at all hand-washing sinks and in all bathrooms to ensure team members to use hot, soapy water and wash for at least 20 seconds.

We are committed to using NSF approved cleaning solutions for our kitchens, warehouse and production areas.

We will continue to follow updates and protocol as suggested by the Franklin County Health Department and other credible agencies to best ensure the safety of our clients and team members.

We have in place a HACCP plan (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point System) that ensures preventative control and a closely monitored food management program.

We adhere to high food safety standards at all times.

OUR PEOPLE

We have internal policies in place for proper hygiene and food safety protocols, which include keeping all employees who exhibit symptoms from working until cleared by a medical facility with proper documentation. The programs are in place to protect against COVID-19.

We follow all hand-washing guidelines set forth by the Franklin County Health Department.

We are staying current with the variety of resources (World Health Organization, Center for Disease Control and Prevention) to make informed and fact-based decisions about our policies and procedures.
